Meeting Diary
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Date : 24 / 11/ 2008 Place: GP South - room 622
This was a first meeting for this project. Lorna gave a printed copy of the framework. Stephen explain about the project will be developed under the framework. He also told that assesment with this course will based on proposal will be due on someday before the christmas and the final product of this project. I assume on 22 December is a due of the proposal or maybe a week before. Someday either on 15/12/2008 and 17/12/2008.
Date : 26/11/2008 Place:GP South room 310
This second meeting involved a summer project team, PhD student's, intern and of course with Stephen and Lorna. I don't remember all: Azrai, Deacon (I not sure this is a correct or not) and others. During this meeting medium of communication within this project has been discussed. As a result, wiki page and blog for this summer project will be created. Also, ice-breaking with other members about what their area of specialization and responsibilities.

2nd Week : 1/12/2008 - 5/12/2008
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Date : 1/12/2008 Place : GP South room 411
A third meeting involved summer project team with Stephen and Lorna. At this time, we discussing about the location experience elements or issue that being considered. Some idea map has been drawn on the white board. I will put that inside the my Wiki page later.Stephen also emphasized that this project will take on under the framework and expected us to get the research process together with the final product.
Date : 2/12/2008 Place : GP South room 411
This meeting involved summer project team with the some key people to get information about what happen and considered during the orientation. It was involved Debbie, Melanie and Maggie. Also, with Lorna and Stephen. Debbie was responsible for the previous O-Week session however for the next term O-Week Melanie (melanie@itee.uq.edu.au) will take over the job. Well, I lost some or maybe a lot of points during this discussion. Hope Lorna and other members will comment on this. What I remembered about using a pasport approach and sms technology as ice-breaking method can be applied for O-Week orientation. Typically students will have a O-Week lecture orientation in 2 hours. Hence we have to determine when the activity will be held on either on the following session or other days. This will be included in offer letter about the special O-Week session. The total of students are 100 or more including domestic and international students. Offer letter will be out on (I don't notes it) , I think in February. Need to concern the activity doesn't overlap the UQ orientation activity. I think there were other points maybe I missed it out. Feel free to comment and add up the points. They also will be invited to critique our proposed project.
